| Michael and Elizabeth |
| We have been married for 22 very happy years and live in Newcastle-under-Lyme, in Staffordshire, England. Elizabeth has various political and community roles. She has been a local Liberal Democrat Borough Councillor for 2 years and is hoping to pursue futher political aspirations. Michael works in I.T. and has been a candidate in local elections himself. He is also Chair of the local LibDem Executive. |

| Cats |
| We have seven abyssinians named Soloman, Figaro, Toulouse, Ellie, Rosie, Aurora and Pip. Our three moggies are Bramley, Orlando and Teddy. We also have a house rabbit called Herbert! |

| Gardening |
| Michael enjoys gardening, a hobby he shares with our two good friends Anne and Bruce. He has lots of plans but as always not enough time to see them through. Elizabeth is chair of the Friends of the Lyme Valley Parkway, and is hoping to raise funding for an organic allotment project within the parkway. |

| Family and Friends |
| We are very lucky to have a large, close family whom we see often. As we do not have children of our own, our niece and nephew, Jessica and Caleb, are especially precious to us. We also have many good friends with whom we share our hobbies and interests. |
